Façade survey
We do not inspect a rainscreen or masonry cavity to locate missing barriers. That work sits with the design or survey party on a separate contract.

Cavity barriers and void barriers where they appear on the issued details — masonry cavities, rainscreen, and compartment line closers as specified.
Install to the drawing
The same rule as for penetrations: we install the system shown on the drawing. We do not survey a façade to determine where barriers ought to have been provided.
If a barrier line is missing from the issued details, that is a design query. Installation of that line waits until a detail is issued.
Evidence
Each barrier is tagged to the seal register where the specification requires it. Photographs are taken against those IDs for the Assigned Certifier.
