After first-fix

M&E create the openings. A firestop specialist reinstates compartmentation. That is the typical path on Dublin and Leinster fit-out and new-build. We price that reinstatement from the schedule and the named systems — not from a walk-round of the riser.

Schedules

If you hold a penetration schedule, send it with the drawings. If the schedule is incomplete, unspecified openings are provisional sums. We will not convert the subcontract into a hunt for extra holes because first-fix ran ahead of the drawing.

Your design duty stays yours

We do not take M&E design, and we do not take firestop design. Mixed-service openings are installed only where the issued system covers them. If it does not, the query goes back to the design party.
